We make stops during our tours for interpretations and taking pictures, leaving the vehicle isn’t mandatory.

Yes, all of our tours are public unless you purchase all available seats or if nobody books the same tour time.

What should I not bring on tour?

Full meals, please pack a small snack like a granola bar or fruit. Alcohol is not allowed due to our policy and state law. For the comfort of all guests, items prohibited include, but are not limited to, firearms, cigarettes, e-cigarettes, drones, glass containers, alcohol, coolers, professional video equipment, illegal substances, guns, weapons of any kind, or cremated remains.

What should I bring & wear?

If you wear eyeglasses we recommend contacts to avoid your eyes from becoming irritated from dust or dirt. If you book our horseback tour we recommend you wear long pants, no sandals, & a hat for the sun. Backpack or purse is acceptable, something compact that can fit in your lap or wear over your back. Stay refreshed, bring water and protect yourself from the sun by packing a bottle of sunscreen. Lastly, snacks are acceptable, remember not to litter.

Can we take pictures or record?

Sure, please remember to be respectful and ask your guide for permission before photographing, videotaping, sketching or recording audio.

Can we eat & drink?

Yes, snacks instead of a full meals. Also, water and juices are acceptable. The ride can be bouncy at times and we would like to prevent any spills or messes. Please, do not drink or bring alcohol due to Arizona law, alcoholic beverages are prohibited in our vehicles.

Can I book a private tour?

Absolutely, our Scenic Express tour is our only private tour you can book on our website.  You can contact us to schedule a private tour for any of our other tours.

Is the tour safe for babies and pregnant women?

No, our minimum age for vehicle tours is 3 years old because it’s important that children are more developed with fine motor skills. For horseback our minimum age is 8 years old because children start learning how to ride around that age. It’s not safe for pregnant women because the routes are bumpy, and it’s off-road so the rides are not smooth. It’s not safe and recommended for a pregnant women to participate on our horseback tours either.

Can people with disabilities take your tours?

Yes, guests must have upper body strength with the ability to hold themselves up during the tour. Guests are responsible for getting themselves in and out of our vehicles because we do not provide any manual or automatic ramps.

Are your tours safe?

Yes, if both guides and guests follow procedures properly. Our guides are trained and constantly learning and so are our horses. Be aware that horses are easily spooked and in rare cases an injury may occur.

Do you offer pick-up service?

We do not offer pick-up. The View Hotel is a 1-2 minute walk to our meeting location.

Do you have child rates?

Yes, children ages 3-12 years old have a child rate for the Scenic Express and Sacred Tour. Horseback tours are per person.

The minimum age requirement for horseback is 8 years old and the minimum age for vehicle tours is 3 years old.

It’s preferred, we’re flexible booking over the phone and email too. We highly recommend booking in advance.

What do I need to check in?

Please present your invoice and a valid photo ID. If you have booked your tour on our website using the 20% deposit payment option, the remaining amount must be paid at check in. You can pay with cash, debit or credit card.

Our check in and meeting location is located at the Navajo Tribal Park Visitor Center parking lot. Located at Indian Route 42, Oljato-Monument Valley, AZ 84536. GPS Coordinates: N 36.98188 and W 110.11210.

Unfortunately, we do not provide tours for any events or special occasions other than what we provide.

Refunds & Cancellation
What is your cancellation policy?

Cancellations made less than 48 hours will not be refunded. Cancellations made more than 48 hours will receive a partial refund. We retain the non-refundable 20% booking deposit.

Weather & Times
How much sun exposure will we be receiving?

You’ll receive a lot of sun exposure during late spring, summer and early fall season. Our vehicles do not have a cover and are open air. We recommend bringing sun screen, a hat and water.

What is the weather like in Monument Valley?

We receive all the seasonal weather here in Monument Valley. It starts getting cold in the fall, winter there’s snowfall, spring it gets warm & hot and summer is extremely hot. Rain is short lived, & sandstorms don’t happen often.

What’s the best tour time?

It’s completely up to you, whether you’re a morning, day or evening person. Great photo & video opportunities can be experienced anytime. Many frequent travelers suggest sunrise and sunset during the spring or summer season.
